Mahjong Boot Camp 🀄️ Ready to finally learn Mahjong? Mahjong Boot Camp is our beginner-friendly, hands-on class designed to take you from “I have no idea what these tiles mean” to confidently sitting down at a table and playing a game! We’ll break American Mahjong down into easy, approachable steps, including learning the tiles, understanding the 2026 NMJL card, setting up and dealing, the Charleston, Jokers, calling tiles, and how to build your hand toward Mahjong. No experience is necessary — we’ll teach you everything you need to know in a relaxed, encouraging environment. Perfect for: Brand-new players or anyone who has played a little but wants a solid refresher on the fundamentals. Come ready to learn, laugh, ask questions, and discover why we’re completely obsessed with this game! 🀄️ All supplies are provided. 🀄️ No experience necessary. 🀄️ 2026 NMJL cards will be available to use during class. By the end of Boot Camp, you'll have the foundation you need to join Guided Play, Open Play, and all the fun happening at Mahj House Society at Fork of the South!
